Social Networking: A purposeful loss of privacy
From my title I will be focusing on social networking and how it affects privacy. My area of research will be focusing on how social networking destroys the family unit. There are billions of people around our world who have social networking accounts (facebook, myspace) .Some of these individuals have lost their families,jobs, church memberships all due to social networking.

Great topic. I have often wondered if a workplace has a right to fire an employeee over a facebook post.
ReplyDeleteIt's true that social networking negatively affects privacy as well as families. In my IT and Social Responsibility class, we recently discussed how it have also caused social isolation. Maybe this would help with your topic as social isolation caused by these social networking sites can have other negative effects, such as depression as well as suicidal thoughts as a result of depression.
